Friends of the Suffering Souls

FOSS is a Catholic lay Association conducting a perpetual novena of Masses for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

This perpetual novena of Masses offers (1) relief to the suffering souls (2) an assurance to FOSS members that they will prayed for in death and (3) an ongoing sacrifice to the eternal Father.

Each FOSS member commits to arrange at least one Mass each year for the Holy Souls, with a special commemoration for the deceased members of the FOSS Association.

FOSS members may also enrol family and friends – living or deceased – as third-party members and commit to arrange an addition annual Mass on behalf of each third-party member, so that they can share in the graces of the novena.
